The Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School will once again be a virtual experience this year. Amy will be teaching a beginner bodhrán course August 16, 17, and 18 from 6-7pm. Each class has a stand alone topic (see below), so students can take all three classes or ala carte.

Monday, August 16: Begin at the Beginning - Students will learn about the anatomy of the framed drum, how to properly hold and strike it, incorporate their backhand, and a handy speed drill for practicing purposes. Click here to register!

Tuesday, August 17: Are you for Reel? - Students will learn the basic reel pattern, some reel rudiments, a variation to the basic pattern and finally play along to the tune the Concertina. Click here to register!

Wednesday, August 18: Jiggity Jiggity - Students will learn the basic jig pattern, a few variations to that basic pattern, double down sticking and finally play along to the tune Saddle the Pony. Click here to register!
